Gather your courage, sharpen your wits, and prepare to face the unknown for a worthy cause and glory! As a community event we look to put some good into the world and you can help with that while earning bragging rights and honour in the face of the Gods!

The Ragnarok Trials are coming to Valhalla Viking Festival — a wild and unpredictable team tournament where only the boldest Vikings will earn glory.

You will enter the arena as part of a team of five… but you will not know your fellow warriors in advance (unless you sign up for a team together). Alliances will be forged on the day, friendships will be tested, and together you will face a series of mysterious Viking-inspired challenges.

One moment you may be carrying a mighty Viking across the battlefield. The next you may be tossing logs, battling in tug-o-war, competing in kubb, racing with barrels, solving riddles, or facing trials we have not yet revealed and they won't be until the day. Are you worthy, are you brave and are you honourable?

Strength alone will not win the day.

You will need teamwork, courage, speed, wit, balance, determination and perhaps a little favour from the gods.

This is not about being the strongest or the fastest. It is about coming together, embracing the chaos, laughing with your fellow Vikings, and competing in the true spirit of Valhalla.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to Crakerjack's Children’s Trust, supporting disabled children.

So by entering the Ragnarok Trials, you are not only fighting for glory… you are helping a worthy cause.

What To Expect

• Randomly assigned teams of five

No experience is needed — only a good attitude, a sense of humour, and a willingness to throw yourself into the madness.

Come dressed ready for action.

You may get muddy.

You may get exhausted.

You may discover strengths you never knew you had.

But if you sign up and fail to appear… you will dishonour yourself, your team, and the gods themselves bringing great shame to your clan.

You must hold a valid festival ticket for the day you are joining this experience. You cannot attend activities without a valid festival ticket.

Upon booking, you will receive a booking confirmation. Your order confirmation is your ticket for this charity tournament.

Spaces are limited, and if you have not reserved a place in advance, you may not be able to join.

Please make your way to the Main Reenactment Arena before the start time. You can find the location on the festival map.
