Food Vendor Applications

Applications for 2026 food vendors are now open.

We are looking for food vendors who can help feed the Horde, add to the atmosphere of Valhalla, and provide a reliable, high-quality experience across the full festival weekend.

Please read all information carefully before applying. If you cannot set up on Thursday 23 July 2026 and leave on Monday 27 July 2026, please do not apply.

Key Dates & Setup

Approved food vendors must be able to meet the full setup and departure requirements.

  • Approved food vendors may set up on Thursday 23 July 2026
  • Estimated arrival time must be confirmed before the event
  • Food vendors cannot leave before Monday 27 July 2026
  • No dismantling of stands is allowed while attendees are on site
  • Friday setup is not allowed unless agreed in advance and in writing
  • Vendors cannot leave on Sunday while the festival is still open, even if sold out
  • Failure to follow trading rules may result in future applications being denied
Absolutely no dismantling of stands before Monday.

How Food Vendors Are Selected

Prior attendance does not guarantee approval for future festivals.

Applications are considered based on the quality of submission, the look of the stand, the food and menu offered, and how the vendor can contribute to Valhalla.

Festival Contribution

Priority may be given to vendors who can contribute through demonstrations, staff or performer discounts, free meals or other support.

Food Variety

We aim to limit crossover between vendors so visitors have a good choice and traders have less direct competition.

Strong Submission

Applications must include clear photos of your stand, food and menu. Missing images may result in automatic refusal.

Pitch Fees & What Is Included

Your pitch fee confirms your trading space once accepted.

  • Food trader pitch fees start at £600 without power
  • Power connections are available at an extra cost of £50
  • Your trading space must include any fridge trailers, seating or other required space, not just the stall itself
  • Pitch fee includes up to 6 traders per stall
  • Pitch fee includes 1 tent camping space
  • Additional wristbands can be purchased at £50 each when securing your pitch
  • Anything added after your pitch is secured will be charged at normal festival ticket prices
  • Only 1 business may trade per pitch fee unless a shared stand has been agreed and paid for
If accepted, you will be sent a link to pay the pitch fee. Failure to pay within 7 working days may close your acceptance and your space may be offered to another vendor.

Access, Parking & Camping

Vendor access is managed for safety, insurance and site operations.

  • Food vendors are allowed on site from Thursday evening and must depart on Monday
  • Parking is free for 2 cars or vans per food vendor pitch
  • Additional vehicles must purchase parking
  • Vendor camping is for tents only, in one of the campsites
  • Absolutely no camping behind stalls
  • Campervans, vans or caravans used for sleeping require a separate campervan space
  • You cannot camp or park behind your stall in any festival area
  • Once set up, vehicles must be removed from the main festival site
  • There is no food or entertainment on site on Thursday or Monday
The festival address is Dummer Down Farm, Basingstoke, RG25 2AR. Directions can be found on the Find Us page.

Honesty Cafe and farm shop is within a 1-2 minute walk of the festival and usually opens daily at 8am.

Minimum Trading Hours

Food vendors may open earlier or stay open later, and we recommend it.

Friday

10:00 - 22:00

Saturday

10:00 - 22:00

Sunday

10:00 - 22:00

Breakfast vendors are advised to open by 8:00. Peak food times have previously been around 20:00, so staying open later is strongly recommended.

  • Your application must include photos of your food
