Blacksmithing Workshop
Forge your own handmade Viking-inspired keepsake
Step up to the forge and experience the heat, rhythm and satisfaction of traditional blacksmithing at Valhalla Viking Festival.
In this hands-on workshop, you will be guided through the process of shaping metal into a small item of your own to keep. Whether you are completely new to blacksmithing or simply want to try something memorable, this is your chance to work with fire, tools and skill under the guidance of the blacksmith.
This is a practical, immersive experience for anyone who wants to do more than watch the craft from a distance.
What You Will Make
During your 45-minute session, you will be guided to make one item to take home.
There will be a few different options to choose from on the day:
- Viking neck knife — blunt
- Snail
- Leaf pendant
- Arrowhead pendant — blunt
