Archery Extended sessions
Upon purchase, you'll receive you payment confirmation which acts as your booking confirmation.
Please select the time of day on Sunday the 28th of July 2024 that you'd like to participate in a "1 on 1" or "1 on 2" Archery session from the drop down menu.
This is a pre-booking only, not the full cost of the session. This reserves your space on your chosen session only and if you arrive late you may lose your space entirely with no deposit refunding. The online pre-booking fee is £6 with the cost of the session (£30-£55) to be payable directly at the Archery range in cash on the day. The remainder to pay is either £30 per person for 1 on 1 instruction of a 35 min slot or £55 for 2 people sharing a 35 min slot (great for a romantic couple experience, a friendly competition, or a competing couple) Only 1 name needed per booking to secure the time slot. You confirm if its 1-to-1 or 1-to-2 before starting the session.
If you do not want to reserve a space, you may also chose to check at the archery range on the day if any spaces are available and cover the fee to him directly in cash on the day, but it is not guaranteed they will have any spaces left by then for the extended sessions.
Have-a-go archery will run as usual in parallel to these sessions. You do not need to pre-book that. This booking system is for the extended sessions only.
There is no concession based on age or profession for this activity. Min age is 12 to experience archery but 18 to participate in prize draw.
In your 35 min session you'll have your own instructor to guide you and there will be a prize draw for the private session slot archers. The prize for 1 lucky archer is a bottle of Bob's delicious mead.
ARCHERY COMPETITION T&Cs
Only private archery session slot participants of ages 18+ will be entered in the prize draw, all participants of private archery slots must provide their names, mobile numbers & email address during their archery slot session to be entered in the competition - winner will be chosen at random & contacted Sunday after last session slot ends 5pm approx. Winner to collect their prize from the archery range in person or they will be contacted via mobile/email & must provide us with their postal address for us to post their prize out free of charge the following week after the festival has ended. We reserve the right to ask for ID for proof of age and to deny the prize to anyone trying to collect it who is under the age of 18 as the prize is a bottle of Alcohol (Mead).
James reserves the right to deny participation to anyone he deems unsuitable to take part due to, but not limited to, attitude, state of sobriety, age or ability to complete the activity. If you are deemed unsuitable to participate, you will not receive a refund so please arrive in an adequate state to be a part of this and in time for your time slot as missing the start time does not entitle you to a later session, you must participate at the session you pre-booked.
You must hold a valid Festival ticket for the day you are joining the workshop. You cannot attend any workshops without a ticket that gains you entrance to the festival on the given day.
No eticket will be issued for Archery. You just need your order confirmation. Only 1 name is taken to secure the booking. Your Name will be on a list to check in at the start with James before beginning. If you want it to be a double session, you just need to let James know before starting to cover the correct remainder. You may need ID to prove you're over 18 and the person who booked.
